Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 24, 2026

1. Who We Are

aiComp ("we", "us", "our") operates the AI receptionist platform available at this website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

  • Email address, password (hashed — never stored in plain text)
  • Company name, contact name, and business phone number
  • Service area and service types
  • Payment information (processed and stored by Stripe — we do not store card numbers)

Call & Lead Data

  • Caller phone numbers
  • Caller names, addresses, and job descriptions (as collected by the AI)
  • Call transcripts and AI-generated lead summaries

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the AI receptionist service
  • To send you SMS and email notifications about new leads
  • To process subscription payments via Stripe
  • To improve the accuracy and quality of our AI models (aggregate and anonymized)
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

  • Twilio — to provision phone numbers and process voice calls
  • Stripe — to process subscription payments
  • Anthropic — the AI provider that processes call transcripts to generate lead summaries (subject to Anthropic's data usage policies)
  • Service providers necessary to operate the platform (hosting, email delivery)

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active. Leads and call records are retained for 12 months after your subscription ends, after which they are permanently deleted. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.

6. Caller Data

Your customers (callers) provide information to the AI receptionist. This data is stored on your account and is accessible only to you. You are responsible for handling caller data in compliance with applicable privacy laws (e.g., CCPA, TCPA).

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is 100% secure — if you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us. Subscribers in California have additional rights under CCPA. EU/EEA residents may have rights under GDPR — contact us for more information.

9. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you by email before material changes take effect.
